Rotary Club of Hyderabad East, a vibrant part of Rotary International District 3150, is proudly located in the twin cities of Telangana. With a legacy of community service and fellowship, our club continues to thrive through innovative programs and active member participation.
Club History & Meeting Schedule
Our club was initially chosen as a Model Club under the Hyderabad Programme from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2010. Following this, we were selected for the Meeting Frequency Program, allowing us to meet twice a month instead of the traditional four times. This program, initially approved for three years (2010–2013), has been extended until 2021 and continues to shape our meeting culture.
We convene every:

1st and 3rd Friday of the month

Time: Fellowship from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by the club meeting from 8:00 PM to 8:45 PM

Venue: Taj Deccan, Hyderabad or virtually during special circumstances (e.g., the pandemic)
Members are encouraged to stay back for post-meeting fellowship beginning at 8:45 PM.
Board Meetings
Our monthly Board Meeting is held on the 2nd Saturday at 9:00 AM, hosted at the residence of one of the directors. This is a breakfast meeting, and details of the host are shared in the Annual Club Calendar.
Fellowship & Family Gatherings
Fellowship is at the heart of Rotary, and we celebrate it with:

A Formal Fellowship on the 4th Saturday of every month, hosted by a group of five Rotarians and their families.

Potluck lunches and dinners, lovingly organized by the Anns.

The much-loved Rolling Fellowship Trophy, where three to four members are invited to dinner and the trophy is passed on to another member—fostering connection and camaraderie.
An International Rotary Friendship Exchange is also in the pipeline, further expanding our global ties.
